The problem is that a company that's been intentionally deceptive, intentionally confusing and someone claimed in a previous comment (written in a way which certainly seemed to sound like commenter thinks deceptive behavior is ok and it's the customers fault for falling for the deception) that a warning would come up clearly stating that a person does not qualify which is not true. Maybe that's what TurboTax claims but simply not true.
We have to trust this company to refund the money they swindled us. It's automatic don't worry. Then TurboTax doesn't send refund and since it's automatic we wait for a while, look in the mailbox and then after a while forget as we don't spend all day worrying about a portion of a refund that TurboTax really should be paying. They took 3x the amount each year for those who filed birth Federal and State. TurboTax can spend all day worrying about TurboTax. They know this so they don't send out refunds that were really a fraction of would be called fraud if were an individual person without $millions.
We have to trust them to refund a max of $90 and even though they got away with a lot more than that they never refunded my money. Those years were some of my lowest due to emergency after emergency. I certainly would've qualified and nothing sent to me.
