My tax return is saying the same thing. “We have received your tax return and it is being reviewed.” I received a letter from the IRS giving an appointment date of May 28, 2024, to identify who I am. I showed them my ID and SSC. Have not heard anything from them since. Now it’s another tax year, and I still ( almost a year later) have not received my tax return from 2023. I don’t know what to do. Do I file this years return and will it affect this one to?
