I am self employed and want to do my 2024 taxes now and get a copy of the completed 2024 tax return, 1040, schedule C, etc. all now before the IRS starts accepting filed taxes later in January. I am applying for a mortgage loan and the lender needs a copy of my 2024 tax return to get the approval then I plan to file and pay in person at IRS office as soon as the IRS starts accepting taxes at the end of January and submit that stamped return to lender in time for closing on the house.
If I pay for turbotax premium for self employed now, fill out all my tax info will I be able to get a copy of my 2024 tax return, 1040, schedule C, etc. right now? I tried with different tax software but because efiling is not open yet it would not give me a copy so just making sure turbotax will before I take the time to fill it all out and pay for it.
Just making sure turbotax won't stop me at the end and say they cannot go further until a certain date in January. I need the 2024 tax return now. Thank you!
