Last year I used 2023 Desktop.  This year I am using 2024 online.  When transferring my 2023 .tax2023 file into 2024 online there are multiple references to 2022.

When I select "Tools->Transfer last year's TurboTax return from your computer", the next page reads (note the references to 2022 TurboTax return and .tax2022):

Do you have a 2022 TurboTax return stored on this computer? Improve accuracy and save time by transferring info from last year’s tax return into this year’s return.

Use the Browse Files button below to find your tax return (.tax2022), then select Transfer Return.

After a successful transfer, the text at the bottom of the page reads:

Transfer Complete

Select Continue to start your 2022 tax return.
