I urgently need help amending my 2021 tax return I’ve never done this before and I just wanna make sure I do it right since the IRS thrives on people being ignorant and uneducated in order to maximize penalties against Americans.
Cashapp, and his parent company reported to the IRS that I made around $99,580 in profit in 2021 when I attempted to start using Cash app as a platform to exchange bitcoin so when I connected my checking account from my external bank to Cash app that’s where I had this money and I was trading that cash from my other account into Cash app so I could buy bitcoin, but this was never a profit I made this is already money already had from another bank, but Cash app reported it to the IRS as if I made this much in profit in the IRS now wants $23,000 and that’s going up due to penalties and fees from like 18,000 something over the past years.
I need this correct immediately and I’ve contacted Cash app to where they have been absolutely no help whatsoever as well as you know the IRS being no help whatsoever. So just need any help I can get would be appreciated or advice, thank you.
