When a form has a fixed maximum number of copies in TurboTax, when you add another copy in forms mode in the desktop software, the Add Form window shows how many have been used and the maximum number. For example, if you have one Schedule C, when you start to add a second Schedule C it will say "1/10 Copy Used," meaning that there is a maximum of 10 copies. But for a W-2, and many other forms, it does not show a maximum number. It just says, for example, "2 Copies Used." That indicates that there is no fixed maximum number. So I would assume that you can enter as many W-2 forms as you want.


You do not see the number of copies in TurboTax Online or in the Step-by-Step interview in the desktop software. It's only shown in forms mode in the desktop software.
