That dropped my bill $15000 but it should be -$9000 according to TURBOTAX. Did we/I need to redfile my tax form?

That dropped my bill $15000 but it should be -$9000 according to TURBOTAX. Did we/I need to redfile my tax form?
IRS applied $15000 to wrong year. They are still $20000 above TURBOTAX result.
