The Live program is being extended to desktop users this year. When that is announced, you can start consulting with a Live expert. They will go through your requirements and let you know whether the things you are looking for are in their scope of work. They will also give you a price quote of the work they will do and you can decide if you want to go ahead with the service.
Currently the assisted program is being offered only to TurboTax Advantage users for an additional $50. The prices you see online are for the online program with Live assistance.
