To qualify for marketplace insurance with potential premium tax credits, your income must be at least at the federal poverty level (FPL), which for a single individual in 2025 is around $15,060, and varies depending on your family size; essentially, meaning you can qualify for marketplace insurance even if your income is at the minimum poverty level for your household size
