Yes, you can use the TurboTax Deluxe online version to claim a Residential Clean Energy Credit as well as many other energy related tax credits.
Follow these steps to claim the Residential Clean Energy Credit:
- Sign into your TurboTax Online account
- Then go to the Deductions & Credits section.
- Find the Your Home section.
- Select the Start/Revisit /edit button next to the Home Energy Credits section.
- On the Energy-Saving Home Improvements screen, answer Yes and then Continue.
- Keep going through all of the screens until you come to the questions regarding the residential clean energy/solar panels, etc.
