I am using my TT to help a friend file an amended return. Her original filing was with TT online. One of her children had his identity stolen so I am trying to help her amend her 2019 filing. She should qualify for EIC and of course the CTC. However, I'm having difficulty with the amendment in TT in that, while indicating I should be capable of creating the amended return, it seems to be going in circles.
Any tips ? I've tried importing the pdf (unfortunately that appears to be the only format downloadable from TT online). Thanks,
