TurboTax online or desktop downloads are only available for tax year 2020 through 2023 at this time. There are some options to obtain copies of prior year software:
- You can see if it is available through a 3rd party vendor
- You can download the forms needed in fillable PDF format from the IRS website - Prior year forms & instructions
- You may need to contact a local preparer for assistance with the prior year returns
You are only able to obtain your refund if you are receiving on for the last three years, refunds for anything older than that are forfeited.
