@scottjohnson277 , while I understand your frustration at what appears to be a limitation and/or unexpected behavior of TurboTax product :
(a) Really cannot understand the symptoms till you tell us more as to the actual situation -- Foreign source income amount / what type/ from which country etc. etc as also your own circumstances like filing status, immigration status, your US income etc.
(b) Where and what did you enter as foreign income/ tax etc.
The more of the scenario you provide the more detailed our answer will be. So please provide these bits of info so we can help you file your return.
