I am in the same boat. I am being forced to buy a new Mac roughly $1500. I am not buying the story that this a developer kit problem and TurboTax hands are tied. I prefer a turbo tax representative to make that official statement and provide me links if this claim is true so that I can see the language for myself. I been with Turbo tax from the very beginning and I am saddened that I will have to jump ship and leave intuit. I truly hope they will reconsider their options here. My MacBook maybe 9 years old but it runs well and I prefer keeping it for now.
