The tag below your question says that you are using TurboTax Deluxe. Deluxe is not free, no matter what's in your tax return. If you file with Deluxe you have to pay for it, even if you could have used Free Edition. See VolvoGirl's post above for information about downgrading from Deluxe to Free Edition.
TurboTax Free Edition is only for very simple tax returns, with limited credits. It basically covers only things that are reported directly on Form 1040, without any other schedules or forms.
