Very helpful. Some clarifying questions.
Background:
- I have a K-1 with income in box 1, 2, and 3
- I have a K-3 with both US source + 2 other countries
- The K-3 also has income in multiple columns b, c, d, e
- I have deductions but they only show up in column f (Sourced by Partner) and don't break down by country
Question
- How many K-1s are needed to be filed and what information goes into each one?
- How do I deal with the deductions as they have no country associated with them?
- I have read that you need multiple K-1s for the different income in box 1, 2, 3. Got it but when you now add multiple countries + income sources, I am thoroughly confused on how to fill out in TT.
