How do I get inventory into a one person LLC if all the items to sell are owned by me?

Is this actually a business or are you just selling personal items exclusively?

The LLC, being a single-member LLC, is indistinguishable from you personally; the LLC is disregarded for federal income tax purposes. Thus, the inventory is considered to be owned by you for federal income tax purposes and you can enter the cost as such.

If you are starting a business, you simply need to enter your beginning inventory as the cost of the products and note that, as a small business, you don't need to maintain an inventory at all. Rather, you can deduct the cost of each of the items (as supplies/materials) as you sell them.
