I am eligible for an federal and state Estimated Tax penalty waivers. I have checked the waiver boxes and filled in the statements on both returns. The federal return eliminated the penalty as soon as I checked the waiver request box. The California return did not. How do I get it to eliminate the penalty and what am I supposed to enter into the two mystery boxes that Turbotax error notifications says I must fill out that are to the left of 5805 PTII box 13? Putting in the state and filling in the amount of the penalty does nothing.
