Yes, you can correct this in Forms mode, without creating an override.
Here's how to do that:
- Open your return in TurboTax.
- Select the Forms icon in the upper right corner.
- Highlight Info worksheet under your Massachusetts return.
- Scroll down to line 10, under Part VII.
- You can clear any of the entries in the Spouse column that shouldn't be there by highlighting the number and hitting Backspace.
- Once the section is corrected, return to the interview by selecting Step-by-Step in the upper right corner.
