You need to log back into your return and indicate in the My Info section of TurboTax that you are being claimed as a Dependent. To do so, please follow these steps:
- From the left side of your screen, choose My Info
- Click Edit under your name and then click continue until you get to the screen Let's Check for some other situations.
- Check the box that Another taxpayer can claim me as a dependent on their tax return. Then choose YES to the question Will this person claim you on their 2023 Tax Return.
- Click Continue through the rest of the interview questions
