I've gone into Home & Business and recreated your scenario, and the system appears to be working correctly. Try this in TurboTax H&B, following these steps precisely:
- Select PERSONAL INFO in the banner
- In the Search field in the upper right corner of TurboTax, type 1099-PATR or 1099-patr. Either way seems to work in the Desktop edition
- Select Jump to 1099-patr
- From there, you'll be able to enter your information based on your type of business
