So apparently, you have to close TurboTax 2023, then open TurboTax 2022, then reopen TurboTax 2023 in that specific order. Otherwise you keep getting the error message. I have to wonder if this is a result of them going to the requirement of having to log into your Intuit account in order to even use the software now. They just keep making it harder and harder and harder to use their software and I'm really getting tired of being a loyal customer. Turbo tax has let me down year after year and I don't know why I even stick with them.
