Get your taxes done using TurboTax

I do not remember exactly how it occurred, when I started TT2023 it kept looking for my tax history, which I had removed from my computer. Either I skipped that step or I saved the current file or both. I did save the form. Then I skipped to the end and was able to filing state. At this point I entered no name, no SSAN, no ID except for the 16 char program id. I was then able to download the state tax. I shut down, disconnected internet, rebooted, reloaded previous tax histories, and started a new form. There is a cost to this. TT lets you start I think it is 5 taxes. I used up one of them. No problem, I do not do five taxes. At most I would use 3, 1 filing jointly, or 2 more for filing separately. I have more negative posts: TT changed 2023 form so you cannot run two different year tax programs simultaneously! I used to compare one tax year with another and could have two or more executables running. TT only allows one executable at a time! After completing income, was not asked if I wanted to take standard deduction of itemize. Previously I always itemized. After filling out federal and state taxes could not find a comparison with previous years.
