2023 Form 56 and Form 1041

I've read the prior posts re Forms 1041 and 56. The decedent died Dec 2022.  An estate has been set up, it is in probate, and there is an EIN. His wife filed a joint 1040 for 2022. All decedent's assets and debts passed to wife when husband passed. Wife recently passed in 2024. The husband only income in 2023 was a few thousand dollars. There is no outstanding income or debt. There will be no tax refund. There was no withholding. The estate has an executor.

  • As I understand posts, we only need to file a 1041 with income on it. Is that correct?
  • Can I file this 1041 via Turbo Tax?
  • As I understand the posts, I also need to file a form 56. Is this correct?
  • If I need to, can I file a form 56 on Turbo Tax?
  • Any of information that I need to know?

Thank you for your help.
