actually we do? all of my w2’s had a spot that was EIN (employer identification number). so you are in straight up wrong. Like it might belong to the employer not employee my apologies. but i still needed the number and the one provided on my W2 didn’t have enough numbers to complete the box the way turbo tax wanted. and i can’t just make up numbers. actually maybe provide help instead of just telling me i’m wrong. it also didn’t ask or want my social security number it wanted the EIN. i also recommend telling your supervisor that setting up customer service that you can call that wont cost me money would be an amazing idea because your A.I. is terrible like everybody else’s automated phone system. because of you, the technical problem i came across, and not being able to get help from someone unless i paid money, i will never use turbo tax again and recommend to everyone i know not to use it.
