Yes, importing doesn't always work. Fortunately, there are other ways to get you W-2 form in your return.
Here's how to do that:
- Sign in to your TurboTax account.
- Select Wages & Income.
- To the right of Job (W-2), select Edit/ Add.
- Select Add new W-2.
- Leave the EIN blank, then select Continue.
- On the next screen you can select Upload a PDF from your computer, Take a picture of it, or select Type it in myself.
- Follow the on-screen steps to enter your W-2 form.
