I have an issue with Form 2210 saying it didn't add up appropriately like the others but the cause is different. Tried to address on a call with customer service -- they were very friendly but couldn't fix the issue.
My issue: Line 6 of my form 2210 is filled out incorrectly by Turbotax and I cannot change it. Line 6 is supposed to list my withholdings and should only come directly from my W-2 Box 2 in my situation (I did not withhold anything further or make any quarterly payments). Instead, the figure listed in line 6 is $551 more than what was actually withheld by my company. So, when I input the correct amount by quarter, which is listed on all of my payslips and adds up to my full year W-2 withholdings, it says that I have input an incorrect amount because it is $551 below this made up number.
Not sure how I can solve because I cannot edit Line 6 myself. Looking for help from the tax experts here.
