It depends. If there is no other taxable income for the trust then it may not be required to be filed. If there is no other gross taxable income of $600 or more.
Income that is not taxable (with the exception of tax-exempt interest or dividends) are not reported on Form 1041. Simply distribute those funds in accordance with the terms of the trust.
