I have multiple 1099-DIVs with a percentage of income allocated to my state (MD) and the rest allocated to multiple states. However, my state return (MD 502) shows a value on line 2 that corresponds to ONE of my state allocations from 1099-DIV. I would expect it to be pulling from FOUR, which would make the sum total in line 2 approximately twice what it is.
How can I verify that the state taxes are pulling these values in from all sources, and/or how can I force the state returns to recalculate if I update state allocations within 1099-DIVs on my Federal data?
