Yes, if you transferred your 2022 return into 2023, TurboTax should fill in the amount of State Tax Refund from last year for you. Verify or enter the amount below.
Enter Estimates & Other Taxes Paid:
- Open your return.
- Click on Federal tab.
- Click on Deductions & Credits.
- Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid, Click on down arrow.
- Click on Start or Revisit to the right of Income Taxes Paid.
- Click on Start or Revisit to the right of 2022 refund applied to 2023 federal taxes.
- Enter the amount applied to 2023 (if not already entered) and select Continue.
