Get your taxes done using TurboTax

If you aren't seeing an option to e-file your tax return, you need to review the return again to see if there is any missing information, or problems with the return. 

 

Here's how to do that:

 

 

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account.
  2. Select Federal from the left menu, then Federal Review. 
  3. If any details come up, select Fix Federal and answer any questions that come up.
  4. If you are filing a state return too, select State from the left menu, then State Review.
  5. If any details come up, select Fix State and answer any questions that come up.
  6. Select Review from the left menu, then Check my info to begin the final review process.
  7. After re-running the Reviews and addressing any details, continue into the File section.
  8. On the Just one more step screen, follow steps 1 and 2 if you haven't already.
  9. Select the Start to the right of step 3.
  10. On the Let's get ready to e-file screen, select I want to e-file. If you still don't see the option to e-file, select File by mail.
  11. Follow the instructions to e-file, or print and mail your return.

 

Mail in returns are supposed to be printed with an instruction sheet telling you where to mail the return. If you don't get that, reply with the name of your state.
