Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Have you tried deleting the K-1s before you re-entered the information? A recent update should have resolved this issue, but it may not apply to an existing K-1.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open your return and go where you left off.
  2. In the left column, click on Tax Tools, then Tools.
  3. Click on Delete a form.
  4. When the list of forms appears, scroll down to Schedule K-1.
  5. Click Delete next to the K-1 you need to remove.
  6. Click Delete Selected Form to confirm deletion.
  7. Also check for Form 3468. If you see this form, delete it as well.
  8. Continue back to your return.
  9. Save your return and close TurboTax.
  10. Restart TurboTax and run SmartCheck to be sure the form errors have been resolved.
  11. Re-enter Schedule K-1(s).
