Your TT account is different from the product's license code. Each TT product you buy has a different license code.
You get the license code in either of two ways described below, and enter it when you install the product.
The instructions included in my TT order confirmation email are:

Your license code is included in the Order information section below. Your license code is also included in the “Downloads” tab in your Intuit Account. It can be used to download your software now, or to install your CD later, if you ordered a CD. |
The license code was indeed included underneath the Product in the email.
That said, trying to find the Downloads tab in your Intuit Account is incredibly difficult. I've given TT feedback on how bad their website it for existing customers. It's almost purely designed for new buyers and only for the online products.
