I find conflicting information regarding how or if NJ Anchor benefits received in 2023 are reported for the 2023 tax year. Has anyone found the definitive answer?
For example, if $10,000 of real estate taxes were paid to NJ in 2023, are the NJ Anchor benefits received subtracted from the $10K and the result reported on the return?
$10,000 NJ real estate tax paid - $1,500 Anchor Benefit received = Real Estate Taxes reported?
