I guess I will be the first to say, that that is not a good response from Intuit.
I tried deleting the form yesterday and filing, it just came back as rejected again.
I was already looking into other software prior to purchasing Turbo Tax again this year... I guess I will be looking again for next year.
I think that anyone, including myself, who are unable to file are do some sort of refund. Not only did we pay for electronic filing for federal that was included in the base price, I myself paid extra for state filing. Now you want me to do more work, pay for supplies and shipping and wait anywhere from several weeks to months for them to process my returns? At least in my case, I always overpay my estimated taxes to keep the governments from trying to charge me late fees, so I get back a decent refund... that money could and should have been making interest in my high yield savings or the stock market over the past month, that I have not been able to file and now the possible months before they hand read a paper copies...
Intuit really screwed the pooch on this one and some sort of reimbursement is due to all of these people. You sold us a product and you did not deliver on the entirety of that product.
