Hi,
If my child this year will be a Full time student at the college for the Spring semester ( February 1- May 17) and then will need only to take 6 credits in the Fall semester ( September -December) to graduate and will take classes online as Part time student. Will the child be, for the tax purposes, treated as Full time or Part time student? May the child be claimed as a dependent on the parents tax return ( all other dependency tests are satisfied)?
