It seems like there is a problem with transferring information from my 2015 returns to my 2016 returns, specifically with the California return, and the TT Support team either doesn't know about it or isn't being forthcoming about the problem.
Symptoms:
1. The Capital Loss Carryover information had to be entered manually with a prompt. That information should come over directly and automatically.
2. The California Two-Year Comparison form has all of the information filled in for 2016, but I had to enter the information manually for 2015. It makes me wonder what else isn't happening that should be happening.
I am running the 2016 TT Home and Business desktop on MacOS X (10.11.6 El Capitan), so please don't give me any information that applies only to the Online version of the Windows version.
