The 1040 EZ form is included in the Free edition which is an online-only product that
handles simple 1040EZ and 1040A returns with the standard deduction. It's
designed for filers who:
- Made less than
$100,000
- Don't own a home or
rental property
- Didn't sell
investments
- Don't own a business
or have 1099-MISC income
- Don't have any major
medical expenses
If your 2017 income
only came from wages, Social Security, or interest and you don't have many (or
any) deductions, TurboTax Free Edition is the way to go.
