Please follow these steps:
- Return to the federal 1099-INT input screen.
- Edit the 1099-INT
- screen says "Let's get your ... details"
- Continue
- screen says "Tell us if any of these uncommon situations apply"
- Click the box beside "Our state doesn't tax all of this interest"
- Select your state
- Continue
