Get your taxes done using TurboTax
Yes, you need to add her W-2 forms as well if you are filing jointly. If you haven't submitted your return for e-file, you can add them now.
Here's how to add her W-2 forms to the return:
- Sign in to TurboTax.
- Select Wages & Income.
- To the right of Job (W-2), select Edit/ Add.
- Select Add New W-2.
- On the screen Who does this W-2 belong to? select your wife's name, then Continue.
- Use the next few screens to import or enter her W-2 forms.
As to why TurboTax didn't ask you for her W-2 forms, the program asks for the same things you had last year and also asks some general questions about new things you may need to add.
If you did already e-file, you will need to amend your return. Follow this link for more about that.
