Hi!
I earned around $1560 from dividends and $600 from capital gain in 2023. I was unemployed and out of country of full 2023 and didn't receive any benefits. I'm also carrying capital loss carryover of $18k from previous year. My status for year 2023 is non resident alien as I'm not a citizen or PR holder. Do I even need to file taxes as my AGI is barely $2k plus? Can I skip filing taxes this year and carry previous capital losses to next year?
