Yes, it will. To create Form 8962, all you need to do is enter your 1095-A for health care in the Federal return Health Insurance tab. Then take the following steps:
- On the
page Did you [all] have health insurance coverage in
2018? choose the radio button next to "I'll pick who had it and which months"
and Continue
- Check the
boxes for the months you had health insurance.
- On the
page Was anyone covered by any of these
plans in 2018? say Yes
- On the
next page What type of plan were you enrolled
in? choose the first option for an Affordable Care Act
plan.
- On the
next page, choose Yes, you received a
1095-A and enter your form when prompted.
That's all you need to do. TurboTax will create the Form 8962 for you.
