Get your taxes done using TurboTax

To resolve the not-saving issue, another user (see this thread) reported that if you go to

System Preferences >

Security & Privacy>

Privacy.

then scroll down to the folder that says Full Disk Access, you should then see a window where both the 2022 and 2023 Turbo Tax icons should be checked. If they are not checked, then unlock the lock and go in and check them both.

If Turbo Tax isn't there, you can add it by using the "+" sign. To put the check mark there, you have to use your password to unlock the Security settings.

Another recommendation:

1) Restart the Mac.

If the error persists then:

2) Use top menu bar File -> (hold Option key down) and Save As and save it to your User desktop.

See also this Apple discussion thread for more information, including saving read-only files.

A Mac user in this Apple support forum found that the print problem was due to a font issue but didn't remember the specific fix.

An Intuit rep on the QB forum recommended this fix:

To print..., you must change... to Airy New. Here's how to change custom form styles (in Acrobat):

  1. Go to Settings and then select Custom form styles.
  2. Select New style.
  3. Click the edit dropdown.
  4. Choose the Change up the template.
  5. Choose Airy New.
  6. Hit Done.
