I am trying to override Schedule 1 line 24Z to adjust a taxable amount IAW Ruling 78-161. I can override but how do I get it to transfer to the total?

The 1099R is from DAFS and they won't issue a corrected copy. I couldn't find any way in TurboTax Deluxe to enter in step-by-step.
