Get your taxes done using TurboTax

Thanks for the feedback.  It is referencing "Line 18 Column (d)" from form 1099-B, not a W-2.  Although I have seen several people on this website  imply that this error is due to Morgan Stanley, it has to be a TurboTax snafu.

 

That said, the TT software would not even allow me to delete and re-input the information.  Fortunately, I finally just hit "continue" several times and eventually I was able to move on.  Note, as I moved along which each "continue," it then requested info from "columns C and G" as well.  And of course, these also don't exist on a 1099-B. 

 

 As you stated, the tax impact for me should be negligible, so I will just ignore it and move on.
