You may have accidently indicated that you made an IRA contribution. If you didn't make any contribution, here's how to correct it:
- Sign in to TurboTax and open or continue your return.
- Select Federal, Deductions & Credits.
- On the Your tax breaks screen, scroll down to Retirement and Investments
- Select Update next to Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions.
- On the Traditional IRA and Roth IRA screen, see if you checked any of the boxes and uncheck them.
- Continue with the onscreen interview until complete.
