No, a subscription to Morningstar is not deductible in 2018.
In prior years a subscription to Morningstar could be deducted as a 2% miscellaneous itemized deduction.
However, the Tax Cuts Jobs Act of 2017 suspended the 2% miscellaneous itemized deductions for the years 2018 through 2025.
