Your motorhome can qualify as a second home if it has sleeping, cooking, and toilet facilities.
If his is the case, you can deduct the interest you paid on the motor home as mortgage interest even if you didn't receive a form 1098.
To enter your motor home interest in TurboTax Online, follow these steps:
- Open your tax return
- Click on Federal in the left panel.
- Click on Deductions & Credits at the top
- Locate the Your Home section. Click on the arrow on the right
- Select Start next to Mortgage Interest and Refinancing (Form 1098).
