@AmyC The workaround doesn't really work, for reasons I explained above. My only choices at this point are a) override the taxable amount and send in a paper return, or b) copy all of my forms over to the IRS's free fillable forms, which is extremely tedious and error prone. Since it is the end of February, and this is only now going to be triaged, I'm going to assume it's not happening in time and I need to figure out something else. I would appreciate it if you could follow up in this thread if and when this ever gets fixed. If I don't hear back that it's been fixed, I'm going to find another option next year for doing my taxes. It's simply not acceptable for TurboTax to instruct a user to do something that may cause them to file a return with errors, then make it impossible to eFile when they attempt to fix it.
