No, not if you are an employee. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) eliminated the employee business expense for tax years 2018-2125, with a few exceptions.
- Armed Forces reservists
- Qualified performing artists
- Fee-basis state or local government officials
- Employees with impairment-related work expenses
No other type of employee is eligible to claim a deduction for unreimbursed employee expenses.
If you are self employed then you are allowed to take a home office deduction, if it qualifies, for that income only.
